The firemen ignited the fire approximately 100 feet
up wind of the treatment area along a 200 feet line. It was
ignited using flammable fuel from a tank. The flames immediately
roared toward the treatment line extending as high as 15 feet
high. The brush burned quickly and completely as in most brush
fires. The heat was immediately intense.
