At about 50 feet from the product line a gust of wind accelerated the flames to a 15 feet high wall of fire and smoke that approached the product line with a wind velocity of approximately 15 mph. The heat was intense and the smoke was thick greatly limiting the visibility. This test is as close to a real brush fire disaster as you can get. The firemen were standing ready with equipment in case the test were to fail.
